Prefabricated fencing is a versatile solution, adaptable to the main needs of a durable and aesthetic fencing. With a quick installation, it is permissible from a design point of view and has a lifespan of over 50 years without maintenance costs.
Option 1 – installation of the prefabricated fence on pads (isolated foundations)
- The prefabricated fence can be installed on isolated foundations (individual pedestals or pads) made of concrete.The fence posts are placed in these pedestals.
- The dimensions of the isolated foundations are approximately 40x40x80 cm.
- We recommend this type of installation with the pedestals hidden in the ground and with the first row of panels partially buried (5-10 cm).
Option 2 – installation of the prefabricated fence on a continuous base
- The prefabricated concrete fence can be installed on bearings connected by a continuous reinforced concrete base.
- The dimensions of the continuous base are approximately 20×70 cm, and the isolated foundations are 40x40x80 cm.
- The dimensions may vary depending on the soil structure, the weight of the fence, the difference in level between the inside and outside of the yard, wind exposure, etc.
Once the fence foundation is poured, it is necessary to prepare the installation for the metal gates. Placing the metal support posts and pouring reinforced concrete beams across the entire gate opening is more efficient and less expensive if done during the fence installation.
